Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, is recruiting an Assistant Director for our Cytogenetic Laboratory. Roswell Cytogenetics typically handles 3,000 specimens annually and is a rapidly evolving group which has embraced automation and innovation to improve the delivery of care.

Faculty members within Cytogenetics will benefit from ample protected time to develop and/or contribute to the research, and/or educational missions of Roswell Park. Opportunities to contribute to the molecular service also exist within this role.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time training and/or laboratory experience, including two (2) years of experience in general laboratory management, methods and techniques in Cytogenetics or other acceptable certificate category.

• CertificationNew York State Certificate of Qualification holder
